Accepting the possible challenges, Murray admitted, “may not be for everyone”, but stressed that recreation is indispensable as the post adapts to financial battles and declining reading.

At the end of February, Bezos announced that he will reorient the Washington Post editorial site in order to obtain “personal freedoms and free markets”.

In a social media post, Bezos revealed that the move led to the resignation of the opinion editor David Shipley.

Bezos added that the newspaper would also act on “critical issues about reciprocity, national security and harmful and distorting effects if tariffs are used to select winners and losers (excluding special products or” ingredients “supply chain if the beneficiary has political power, for example)”.

The news of the meeting coincided with the MSNBC announcement that Jackie Alemany, which covered politics in the Washington Post, was on board as co-expecting one of his “Weekend” panel shows.
