CBS file files to refute the 20b ’60 minute ‘lawsuit of Trump:’ Remove the first change ‘

CBS filed a motion to dismiss President Trump’s $ 20 billion lawsuit for his controversial interview of Kamala Harris’s “60 minutes”, calling the lawsuit a “confirmation of the first basic change in law or fact.”

Trump claimed that “60 minutes” “deceived” interview to make his opponent in the 2024 presidential election to look better, citing “voter intervention”.

He filed a lawsuit in October, a month before he won the presidential election, and has pressured the Tiffany network to release the former vice president’s unprecedented transcript and video in an effort to show that there was nothing unusual about editing.

Lawyers on the Global Paramount Global Network said in their motion to rest late Thursday: “This lawsuit is an attack on the first change and is without the basis in law or fact.”

They added that Trump is seeking to “punish a news organization for editorial judgments protected by the Constitution they dislike”.

“They not only demand $ 20 billion in damage, but also demand an order that runs how a news organization can exercise its editorial judgment in the future,” they writes. “The first change lies firmly against these requirements.”

If the case was not rejected, the lawyers demanded that it be transferred from the US District Court to the northern Texas district in the southern New York district, where the CBS News headquarters is located.

The measure comes after Paramount has been in talks with Trump’s legal team regarding the potential resolution of the indictment in the hope that Trump and his chief of the Federal Communication Commission Brendan Carr will allow him to join Skydance.

Carr is investigating the issue, although brass “60 minutes” have insisted that modification was simply for clarity and that there was no wrong game.

“This lawsuit is completely separated from, and unrelated to the Skydance transaction and the FCC approval process,” said a spokesman for Global Paramount. “We will adhere to the legal process to protect our issue.”

In a statement to Axios, Trump’s lawyer Ed Paltzik said the president is “committed to keeping those who trafficking in fake news, fraud and lies on account.”

“CBS and Paramount performs the worst type of electoral intervention and fraud in the days of closing the most important presidential elections in history,” he said. “President Trump will pursue this life issue for his right and fair conclusion.”
