Lawyers representing Paramount and Donald Trump have agreed to bring a mediator to facilitate discussions about a possible solution to the president’s constant $ 20 billion against the CBS branch, according to a report.
The decision to bring a third party signals a possible effort by both parties to resolve the dispute outside the court, according to the New York Times.
Trump-raised trial accuses the CBS show “60 minutes” of deceptive editing an interview with the then Vice president, Kamala Harris, whose response will long be for a question about Israeli-Hamas conflict condensed.

Discussions of the solution between Paramount, CBS and Trump’s parent company started earlier this year.
However, reports on these negotiations have caused internal friction within the paramount, especially among CBS News employees who have expressed strong opposition to any form of solution.
Bill Owens, the executive manufacturer of “60 minutes”, told employees that he did not intend to apologize as part of any possible agreement.
In December, ABC News and anchor George Stephanopoulos reached a solution with Trump, agreeing to pay $ 15 million to the next TRUMP presidential library and an additional $ 1 million to cover his legal fees.
The solution also included a public apology from ABC News and Stephanopoulos for incorrect statements made during a broadcast.
Sources told the post that Stephanopoulos was alive to be forced by parent company Disney to attach his name to prayer.
Trump’s lawsuit against Paramount has also launched uncertainty over the unification pending the company with Skydance Media, an agreement that, if completed, would combine Hollywood historical studio with the start of media supported by billionaire Larry Ellison.

Others worry that the solution can lead to the shareholder lawsuits, especially if Trump secures a huge financial victory in court.
Some within the paramount remain concerned about the broader implications of a solution. According to Times, paramount leaders fear that a deal with Trump may result in legal obligations beyond the scope of standard corporate insurance coverage.
A recent appearance by the Federal Court in Texas described the next steps in the matter, demanding that both parties be involved in mediation until December 20. If they fail to mutually select a mediator, the court will appoint one at least 14 days before the deadline.
CBS, for its part, claimed that the interview “60 minutes” had not been manipulated.
The company secured the full transcript of the Harris interview with the Federal Communications Commission, which later made it publicly available.
In a statement posted on its website, CBS News claimed that the released transcript confirmed that the broadcast was not a doctorate or deceiver.
