The new series will be “Part Drama Family, Part Epic Survival Tale and Story Story Origin of the American West,” Netflix said in a press release.
The devout fans of the original television series, who aired on NBC in the 1970s and 1980s, prayed with Netflix not to disrupt healthy history with politics.

Other executive manufacturers working in series include Joy Gorman Wettels, Dana Fox, Susanna Fogel and Trip Friendly Friendly Family Productions, whose father, Ed Friendly, produced the original movie “Small House in Prairie”.
