“The View” co-worker Whoopi Goldberg said Wednesday that President Donald Trump did not represent America in a speech to viewers from other countries, as she promised that the hosts would continue to complain about administration policies.
“All of you the places you see, this is not our wish,” Goldberg said while her co-leaders agreed. “This is not what the American people want. We don’t like it. We don’t like how they are happening – we don’t like how this is being done. That’s why you will hear us doing about it as long as we are able, because no one is talking does not understand what is happening, and therefore, when they say America, they are not talking about us.”
“They’re talking about that very close gang of America they think they represent, that I think they don’t realize they are starting to lose,” the co-perpetrator continued.
Goldberg and “The View” co-juniors strongly criticized Trump’s comprehensive tariffs during the conversation. The president later announced Wednesday that he would create a 90-day pause for some reciprocal tariffs, but would increase fees for goods from China.
Last Thursday, Goldberg signed the program by protecting the Trump resistance movement.
“Remember, resistance is true. You’re not alone,” Goldberg told viewers.
Goldberg said last month that it was time for Americans to rise and protest against the Trump administration.
“People have to go out and you have to march. You have to start making noise. This is now turning to us,” Goldberg said in the 19th March episode. “The only way people will hear how angry you are is if you go there,” she added.
Critics show that the show is not known for its balanced receipt of news and political issues. None of the six co-hosts, including his two self-identified Republicans, Ana Navarro and Alyssa Farah Griffin, voted for Trump in 2024.
The Conservative Media Research Center also analyzed every episode of “The View” from January 6, when the program returned from a winter break until April 4, and revealed that it failed to reserve a single guest based on the right to discuss politics.
“The View” managed to welcome 63 liberal guests during that same period, including nine Democratic politicians. Sen. Tammy duckworth, d-ill., Sen. John Fetterman, D-PA., Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mas., Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, Sen. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., And Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, DN.Y., all joined in the program.
ABC Show’s co-joys also interviewed Senator Cory Booker, DN.J., on Monday after his Senate record speech last week.
