Rosie O’Donnell says the involvement of Doge Chief Elon Musk in President Donald Trump’s presidential victory should be investigated.
“I doubt why the first time in American history a president has won any shaky state and is also the best friends and his biggest donor was a man who owns and runs the Internet,” O’Donnell said in Ireland The late show.
She seemed to be referring to Musk and his X, once Twitter ownership.
“I would hope that it would be investigated and that we would see whether or not an anomaly or something else that happened in America in America when Kamala Harris was filling stadiums with people who supported him and Donald Trump was unable to do it,” she added.
“So it’s curious to me,” she said. “And as an American and a believer in democracy, I would hope that we would be able to look at all the reasons why this happened in our country.”
When he came to comment on Musk from Fox News Digital, White House secretary of the White House Taylor Rogers said, “America is better without a nonpatriotic celebrity, with no touch and insignificant as Rosie O’Donnell.
O’Donnell also said she wrote an apology to Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin for interacting with Trump at the White House earlier this month, when a reporter asked her about her movement in her country: “Why would you allow Rosie O’Donnell to be transferred to Ireland?
Before Martin could answer, Trump said, “This is true. I like this question. Do you know you have Rosie O’Donnell? Do you know who it is? You’re better not to know.”
The former “The View” co-perpetrator also overthrew Trump by signing an executive order on Thursday to close the education department.
“He distributed the Department of Education and I have a child who has autism and this child will be denied services and many, many autistic children because the funds for these programs for children with special needs come from the federal government as well as states,” O’Donnell said.
She added that the closure of the department would be “catastrophic for children in the spectrum”, calling it “terrible”.
In response to a commentary request from Fox News Digital about O’Donnell’s concerns, the White House highlighted a Friday post from the Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Kennedy said that his department “is fully prepared to take responsibility for supporting individuals with special needs and overseeing food programs led by @useusegov. We are committed to ensuring that every American has access to the resources needed to bloom. We will take care of our citizens. again. “
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told Fox News Digital in a statement, “President Trump is doing everything within his executive authority to dismantle the education department and return education back to the states while maintaining critical functions for students and families such as student loans, special needs and programs. Attempts, and we expect them to help the president.
Fox News Digital reached O’Donnell, but she refused to comment further.
