Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough slammed a handful on the table during Thursday’s appearance while slamming Elon Musk’s “funny” cuts – like accessing “poor children’s food programs” keeping low taxes for billionaires.
“What we are seeing with Elon Musk has been cut from the sawmill with electric saw. There is no method of dementia,” the msnbc’s anchor said as he spoke with a panel including his co-perpetrator and wife Mika Brzezinski, co-spiral Willie Geist and other guests. “It has just been cut first, and hurt the Americans later.”
“I just have to say,” he added as he slammed his fist on the table, “If you are the Democratic Party and you can’t win, you know, please go sell used cars because you are in the wrong business.”
He jumped into the “funny” advantages of DOGE, such as keeping social security intact for “millionaires” and “billionaires” – but going after food programs for children living in poverty.
“They will take lunch – breakfast and lunch – away from poor children. They will not get tax cuts away from billionaires,” Scarborough said.
The Department of Agriculture earlier this month said it was cutting two programs that provided $ 1 billion school to buy healthy, raised food in the country for students. One of those cut programs funded free food for food banks and other local groups to help undeserved communities, according to USDA.
“They are billionaires, and they are detached. Elon Musk is so radically detached,” scarborough continued.
Rant of Scarborough followed reports that President Trump is expected to sign an executive order on Thursday afternoon by dismantling the Education Department, which has been a major objective of the missing Agenda of Musk.
Last month, Musk’s team announced about $ 900 million down to the Education Department.
Scarborough argued that Doge’s cuts “will do nothing to balance the budget”, boasting that he was in Congress when the budget was balanced for four years under President Bill Clinton.
A former member of the Republican Party, Scarborough served as a representative for Florida in the late 1990s.
