Brin added that “60 hours a week is the sweet place of productivity” in Missive, which sent to employees working in Google twins.

In the same memorandum, Brin also exploded some Google employees not to do enough to contribute.

“A number of people work less than 60 hours and a small number set to the bare minimum to get,” Brin wrote. “This latter group is not only unproductive, but it can also be very demoralizing for everyone else.”

Memo does not apply to Google employees more broadly, according to the report.

Google currently requires its employees to be in the office at least three days a week.

The post has reached Google to comment on the memorandum.
