A senior ABC News journalist is out on Disney owned network after the company’s human resources department conducted an investigation into his behavior, according to a report.
Joshua Hoyos, who served as the Chief of the New York Bureau of ABC News since 2022, has suddenly appeared on the network, according to the Oliver Darcy status newspaper.
Hoyos, 32, officially shared with ABC News after a suspension – though the reason for the sentence was not revealed.
The post has requested comment from ABC News and Hoyos.
Hoyos, who had been with the network for more than a decade, did not answer the public in question about his departure.
Rutgers-Newark Alum University joined ABC News in 2012 as a practitioner for “Good morning in America”.
Over the years, he rose to the ranks, serving as a weekend assignment manager and later the network news manager.
In July 2022, he was promoted to the New York Bureau chief, overseeing news coverage across the east coast, excluding Washington, DC.
Chief of the network Almin Karamehmedovic is expected to officially inform staff about the situation later this week.
