Pro-Israeli comedian Michael Rapaport believes the Israelis and Palestinians have nothing to lose with President Trump’s proposal to have the United States to own the Gaza belt.
In a video posted on the Social Media Platform on Thursday, Rapaport struck efforts to mediate peace between Israel and the people of Gaza in the modern age, saying “Nothing has worked.”
He added that people should be open to Trump’s plan because it is at least something different.
“We have tried with peace agreements, normalizations, two -state solutions, this, that and the third. Every idea F- it has been proven, discussed,” he said.
“I don’t know what to tell you. Something has to happen, ”Rapaport said in the clip.
“They have tried and trying and trying, and Clinton and Obama, Bush and Carter, and every single person has tried and trying and trying and Golda,” he continued, mentioning former Prime Minister Israeli Golda Meir .
“And everyone has been trying and trying and trying with these people. Nothing worked. At one point, people have to go, ‘that’s it, man. You can’t understand it, we will understand to you. “
Joking about Gaza, becoming one of Trump’s newest real estate projects, Rapaport said, “Mar-a-Lago 2025, Mother-! Gaza Plaza 2025 Motherf-! ‘”
“If you are more offended by the idea of the United States who take over Gaza than what you have seen with your eyes, for decade after decade, from October 7, even now – sometimes you have to learn the difficult way,” the comedian said finishing his clip.
He described the video, saying, “You may dislike the idea Trump Gaza Plaza, but I don’t know what to tell you at this point. What is really offensive ????”
At a recent White House press conference along with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump announced that SH.BA would take over the Gaza belt and make it safe again.
“The US will take over the Gaza bar and we will do a job with it,” Trump said on Tuesday night.
“We will own it and be responsible for dismantling all dangerous, unexplained bombs and other weapons on the site.”
“Level the site and get rid of the destroyed buildings, its level, create an economic development that will provide an unlimited number of jobs and housing for people in the area,” he continued, adding.
“Do a real job. Do something different. I just can’t get back. If you come back, it will end in the same way as for 100 years. “
Trump’s proposal comes just weeks after Israel and Hamas agreed on a ceasefire agreement, ending the war between the two factions that began with the massacre of the terrorist group in Israel on October 7, 2023.
The weapons bear, as well as a hostage agreement, was officially signed by Israeli officials, Hamas, Sh.BA and Qatar in Doha, Qatar on January 16.
