Fox News Channel has announced that Lara Trump will host a new weekend premium program entitled “My Lara Trump”, which is located in the premiere of February 22.
The hour show will be aired on Saturdays at 9pm in Eastern times while “a nation with Brian Kilmeade” will be relocated on Sundays from 10am to 11pm in Eastern times, according to a announcement by Fox News Media Suzanne Scott.
At the announcement, Scott praised Trump as a “talented communicator who knows how to connect with viewers”, adding that her experience as an entrepreneur, a mother working and the political figure gives her a unique understanding of the American public.
“The innate meaning that washed for today’s political landscape will be a convincing addition to our weekend formation,” Scott said.
Trump expressed excitement for her return to the Fox News, emphasizing her desire to engage with the American people.
“I am excited to bring my voice back to Fox News, to speak directly with the American people and to emphasize what makes this country such a big,” said the wife of President Donald Trump’s second son Eric Trump.
“While covering the success of the Golden Age of America, I look forward to where it will lead our country this time and where this opportunity will take me to the future,” she said.
Lara Trump, who was mentioned as a possible candidate to replace Secretary of State Marco Rubio as an American Senator from Florida, is not a foreigner for the news media.
She began her career in the media as a storytelling and manufacturing coordinator for the “Inside Edition” television news program from 2012 to 2016.
She later hosted “Real News Update”, a webcast supporting Donald Trump’s presidency. In 2021, she joined Fox News as a contributor.
Lara Trump said her appearance aims to focus on restoring common sense throughout American society as the country goes through what it describes as a “new era of practice”.
The program will have in -depth analyzes, interviews with leading thought leaders and discussions on the main news affecting American families.
Fox News’s Lara Trump’s employment follows her latest mandate as co-chair of the Republican National Committee, where she played a central role to help re-election her father-in-law.
She previously served as a senior Trump campaign adviser in 2020 and as a substitute during the 2016 elections.
Beyond her political career, Trump has been waiting for the “right look” since 2020, an online series that represents a panel of conservative women discussing sociopolitical issues.
The Fox News Channel remains a predominant force in cable news, as it has been the most watched network in the basic cables for the last nine years and key television news ratings for 23 consecutive years.
According to Nielsen Media Research, FNC attracts nearly 70% of the cable news audience.
A study by the Pew Research Center in 2024 identified the Fox News as the highest source of political coverage among Americans, while a New York Times/Siena College survey of 2023/Siena revealed it was the only main source of news for voters across the country.
