Known for her gorgeous dresses and high heels, Georgian-born French pianist Khatia Buniatishvili is a rock star in the world of classical music, having performed internationally since the age of 10. With her sixth solo album, “Mozart,” due out in October. 25 on Sony Classical, the 37-year-old has played Chopin, Beethoven and Rachmaninoff everywhere from Carnegie Hall in NYC to the Hollywood Bowl in LA – not to mention Paris, Milan, Dubai and Seoul.
Her mesmerizing performances reach nearly 1.2 million listeners a month on Spotify, while Coldplay’s Chris Martin is both a fan and collaborator. With hundreds of stunning performance gowns, it’s no wonder Buniatishvili has been called “the world’s most fascinating pianist”. The Cartier global ambassador, who recently wore a sparkly black Anouki dress to open the Venice Film Festival, considers Coco Chanel her biggest wardrobe muse.
